Swiftstash AI Automation Case Study: From Idea to Working App
A real-world AI automation case study showing how Savannah Automated turned a community idea into a working, mobile-friendly web application.
Swiftstash began with a simple idea: create a fun way for people to hide, find, and trade friendship bracelets in their own cities.
The challenge was turning that idea into something people could actually use without downloading an app, learning a complicated system, or relying on manual coordination behind the scenes.
Savannah Automated designed the product experience, workflows, sharing logic, and supporting systems needed to take Swiftstash from concept to a functioning public web app.
The Challenge
Make a physical treasure hunt work digitally.
Swiftstash needed to connect something happening in the real world with an easy digital experience.
Users needed to be able to hide a bracelet, create clues, share its location, and let someone else find and log it. The experience also had to work naturally on a phone and be simple enough for someone who discovered a bracelet unexpectedly to understand what to do next.
At the same time, the system needed to manage user accounts, stash information, photos, location clues, QR-driven discovery, and social sharing without creating a maze of manual work behind the scenes.
The Build
One app. A lot happening under the hood.
Savannah Automated built Swiftstash as a public, mobile-friendly web application designed around three core actions:
Hide a Stash
Users can create a new stash, add clues, upload an image, and share enough information for another person to hunt for it.
Find a Stash
Finders can locate the stash in the app, log their discovery, and continue the experience without needing an App
Store download.
Share the Experience
Custom sharing flows help users spread hidden stashes and successful finds through social channels, text, email, and direct links.
The system was designed so the technology stays mostly invisible. Users see a simple treasure-hunt experience while the workflows, data, and logic work quietly in the background.
How It Works
A simple experience powered by connected workflows
1. Create
A user creates a stash and enters the information needed to help someone find it.
2. Hide
The bracelet is placed somewhere in the real world and connected to the digital stash through the app and QR experience.
3. Discover
Another user finds the bracelet, accesses Swiftstash on their phone, and logs the find.
4. Share
The app creates an easy path for users to share hidden stashes and discoveries with others.
5. Keep It Going
The experience is designed around more than finding. It encourages users to continue hiding, finding, and trading within the community.
What Savannah Automated Designed
The project brought together several disciplines rather than relying on a single automation or tool.
Key elements included:
-
Custom web app development
-
Mobile-first user experience
-
Workflow and product design
-
QR-based discovery
-
Location and clue management
-
User accounts and stored data
-
Image handling
-
Social sharing workflows
-
Conditional logic
-
Automated messaging
-
Product strategy and testing
The Result
A working product, not just an idea.
Swiftstash became a functioning public web app that users can access directly from their phones at Swiftstash.co.
The project demonstrates how AI-assisted development, automation, workflow design, and product thinking can come together to create a practical digital solution from scratch.
Just as importantly, the process involved testing what worked, refining what did not, and simplifying the experience until the technology supported the idea instead of getting in its way.
What This Case Study Shows
Swiftstash is a good example of what Savannah Automated can build when a business problem does not fit neatly into an off-the-shelf tool.
Not every automation is an email trigger or CRM update. Sometimes the right solution is a custom app, connected workflow, or digital experience built around a specific business or customer need.
Savannah Automated works with small businesses in Savannah, the Lowcountry, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and beyond to design practical AI and automation systems around the way they actually need to work.
Have an Idea That Needs a System Behind It?
You do not need to know what platform, automation tool, or AI technology should power it. Start with the problem.
Savannah Automated can help map the workflow, identify the right tools, build the system, and turn the idea into something people can actually use.
